this is my interior photography of the new vaund store stuttgart designed by vaust studio

the new place to be in stuttgart. the bar called “gian paolo e marco” with pink tiles and carrara marble.

another personal work that belongs to the genre of the new topographic movement in which i have been photographing now for about two decades.

i took the photos of a construction site in the city center of stuttgart for the annual report of stinag ag designed by werbung etc.

i love those misty days in the swabian jura.

just two days before the second lockdown began, i headed into the kleinwalsertal to take the photos of the youth hostel of the stadtjugendring stuttgart. this weekend felt a little bit like “shining” being nearly alone in a 20 room hostel with around 70 beds up in the mountains.

this is a wonderful project of deckertmesterarchitekten, an apartment build in the sixties in berlin grunewald and now converted into a modern living space.

it was the fifth time that i was teaching my workshop technical camera and architectural photography at the wifi innsbruck, and i have been travelling nearly a hundred times to innsbruck, where i once lived, but it was the first time that i had a special permit to enter my homeland austria. in times of covid 19 it is not that easy to travel in europe…nobody ever thought that something like this could happen. i was really happy, that my workshop took place with these fabulous participants!

this is my very spontanous coronavirus pandemic project from today. i call it high noon. on a normal tuesday in april, with more than 20°, there are lot of people around in the city for shopping or having lunch. but at the moment the city is quiet as i have seen it only on early sunday mornings and only a few people are on the streets.
