the opening of my solo exhibition at the vhs photogalerie in stuttgart is on the 26th september 2024 at 7pm in the robert bosch saal, rotebühlplatz 28 in 70173 stuttgart. the exhibition runs until the 17th of november 2024.

together with merz akademie, i photographed the images of the art project solid transitions in the unfinished halls of the stuttgart train station. for a few days at the beginning of january 2023, a total of 14 artistic positions were exhibited there. here you can see the works of frauke schlitz, erik sturm, anima ona and kestas.

one of the most beautiful and desirable places in stuttgart, the villa berg, is finally being revived by atelier brückner after decades of slumber.

another personal work that belongs to the genre of the new topographic movement in which i have been photographing now for about two decades.

i took the photos of a construction site in the city center of stuttgart for the annual report of stinag ag designed by werbung etc.

it was very sad to hear that the fantastic brazilian dancer ismael ivo died of covid 19. i took these pictures at the stuttgarter theaterhaus in 2006 at the play “apocalypse”.

construction 2021

this is my very spontanous coronavirus pandemic project from today. i call it high noon. on a normal tuesday in april, with more than 20°, there are lot of people around in the city for shopping or having lunch. but at the moment the city is quiet as i have seen it only on early sunday mornings and only a few people are on the streets.
