i was asked to hang some pictures i took with my fabulous arcaswiss rm3di large format camera on the stand of arcaswiss at the photokina in cologne. here they are. four pictures of the centro niemeyer in aviles/spain by architect oscar niemeyer and one brand new picture of monaco.

one year ago oscar niemeyer (1907-2012), the famous brazilian architect, passed away at the age of 104. this is one of his last realized projects, the centro niemeyer in avilés, asturia, spain, opened in 2011. i took the photos in july 2013.

the walden 7 complex in barcelona was build in 1975 by ricardo bofill. it is still a completely fascinating residential for nearly 450 units including shops, offices, bars and a swimming pool, even some table tennis courtyards!
