it was thomas hoepker, the famous magnum photographer, who once said “you take one, maybe two pictures a year”. this is my picture 2018. i took it in my hometown stuttgart on an ordinary day in june. it shows how poor stuttgart, one of the richest cities in germany, everyday is.

for a special issue of the monopol magazine i photographed the museum burda in baden-baden

these days we have a meeting in rome with all the members of the archaological project “befim” and i had a little time to enjoy the forum romanum by night

my photographic film “new era” was shown on saturday at the arthaus cinema delphi in stuttgart after the fifth playtime where we have all been listening to “the cure – disintegration”

this is the yellow house in flims, switzerland by night. i know it is white, but before the swiss architect valerio olgiati reconstructed the house it was yellow.

i was asked to hang some pictures i took with my fabulous arcaswiss rm3di large format camera on the stand of arcaswiss at the photokina in cologne. here they are. four pictures of the centro niemeyer in aviles/spain by architect oscar niemeyer and one brand new picture of monaco.
