it was thomas hoepker, the famous magnum photographer, who once said “you take one, maybe two pictures a year”. i took this picture on the 21st of november 2010, a lazy sunday morning in vilanova i la geltrú – spain

2011 – stop hiding

the walden 7 complex in barcelona was build in 1975 by ricardo bofill. it is still a completely fascinating residential for nearly 450 units including shops, offices, bars and a swimming pool, even some table tennis courtyards!

…is better than in berlin.

this is all i can say.

the actual exhibition of “the house of hohenstaufen and italy” in mannheim, made me thinking of a project i photographed 10 years ago in apulia about the “castel del monte” and “frederick II”, the “first modern man on throne” and also the architect of the “crown of stone”

…something is missing…
